Spotting

Description:

About 20mm tall, pale tan coloured tops, flattish dome, fine smooth parallel white stipe. Open few gills.

Habitat:

Very tall, dark and moist eucalyptus forest.

Notes:

These little mushrooms were growing in the mosses and lichens on top of a solid granite rock. The plants alone (and whatever detritus) must have provided sufficient nutrients for the fungus. Possible 'Rickenella fibula'
