Texas Spiny Lizard

Sceloporus olivacus

Description:

Lacey oak with lizard.

Habitat:

Spotted it on our back deck. Wooded area with a lot of rocky outcroppings surround it.

Notes:

When I tried to get its picture, it kept slipping around to the other side of the tree. When it reached about 10 feet high it stopped and sat there watching me.
