Hippopotamus amphibius
Grazing hippos during the day - quite a treat to see! The birds on the ground stay close to the hippo's hooves. With every step she takes, insects, and other animals the birds enjoy, jump and fly away as her step disturbs them, and the ground birds snatch them up. The birds on the hippo's back eat the ticks and other insects from the hippo's skin, which provides a benefit for the hippo too.

Wonderful series!
Alice, thank you for the suggestion. I have updated my spotting to include the symbiotic relationships mission. Thanks for pointing it out to me!
Nice spotting!
You should put this under the Symbiotic Relationships Mission.
Very neat with his entourage of birds to keep him clean!
