Description:

I took this picture in my backyard. This plant is about 4 feet tall with a single stem in the center. The purple thin stem-like flower you see sticks off in multiple directions. Bright purple.

Habitat:

Soil, mulch surrounding it, backyard with rock not too far beneath the soil. Tropical climate. Does not need a lot of water. In sun all the time.
