Description:

bright metallic red / bronze beetle with black legs and distinctly lobed antennae; length about 10mm / just under half an inch

Habitat:

In my garden which is a small holding on the outskirts of the city. Relatively hot, dry climate with +/- 500mm summer rainfall, can reach 40C in the summer and below zero in the winter but not every year
