Moles are small cylindrical mammals adapted to a subterranean lifestyle. They have velvety fur; tiny or invisible ears and eyes; and short, powerful limbs with large paws oriented for digging.

Was cleaning up around the shed and move some old rags that were outside the door, only to find it was a nest to 8 baby moles. I showed two of them to my 3 year old daughter and returned them to there nest. I came back at around midnight to check on them and mom was nursing so I left so I wouldn't disturb them. :) I love a happy ending.
