That's great che. I lived on Sanibel and Captiva Islands for just about ten years. Sanibel doesn't let you keep any live shells by law. However, there are plenty to collect on the beaches that have already passed on.

these species are to endangered to keep so i set them free

they are called fighting conchs because they are very territorial and will defend their territory
