Project Noah Fact of the Day: The Nubian ibex is a type of goat found in the mountainous areas of Algeria, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Yemen, and Sudan. They only stand about 2 to a little over 2 1/2 feet. The long curved horns of the males can reach over 3 feet long! It is estimated that are only around 1200 of these animals in the wild where they live in rough dry mountainous terrain.
