What a strange coincidence! I have a spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/986... which look exactly like the seeds of this plant that I have been trying to get an ident for for ages. I picked some up on the beach here in Southern Thailand and also saw some for sale in a herbal shop locally. If I shake the seed case it rattles. Perhaps you could take a look at my spotting and see if you think it is the same
