Green-barred woodpecker (Pájaro carpintero real)

Thank you for the nice comments manu, if you pay close attention, next time you go to the countryside you may see that there are many of them around; they are so beautiful! =)

I thought all those different patterns were not present in the cardinal but the people who live where I saw them told me it was a cardinal.... Thank you very much; I will call them too...=)

This is nothing like a Red-breasted Cardinal. It is a member of the Woodpecker family. I will let you know the details later.
