Notes:

Like Purple Cone Flower (Echinacea), Black Eyed Susans were strong immune stimulants. When mixed with Yellow Dock and Yarrow and used in a liquid form, it was a treatment for earache. When mixed with Hepatica and Fairywand, it was a treatment for swelling and also for back pains. BES were also used in the treatment of urinary tract infections.
