Northern Watersnake

Description:

Northern Watersnake, Greyish brown with darker shades of brown markings. Approx. 24" long. Non-venomous.

Habitat:

Sugar Hollow Park, wetlands area. Mostly swamp with woodland, fields and a small stream nearby.

Notes:

Seen sunning itself near walking trail on a log inside small pond. Area appears to have a large amount of frogs and other small prey items. Estamated length approx. 24".
