Imperial Moth

Eacles imperialis

Description:

looks like a rotting banana peel; moth; about the size of my entire hand; no antennae; fuzzy body; I could only see four legs

Habitat:

I've never seen this before. I found it in the mulch outside my church in the mid-morning.

Notes:

Isn't it cool?!?
