This Hawk stopped on the power lines and let me walk all around him as I took photos. It is a medium sized hawk with dark brown back with mottled brown upper and white under.
Spend their summers in the north and winter in South America. Likes dense deciduous and mixed woodlands and is often seen near openings created by roads, trails and wetlands.
