Ovis canadensis
The BigHorn sheep (Ram) are named because of thier large curved horns, their colour ranges from light brown to grayish or dark. Males weigh between 127-316, 36-41 in (91-104cm) tall at shoulder and 69-79 in (180-200cm) Their wide-set eyes are situated well forward on the head, providing a wide arc of exceptional vision. The bighorn sheep's keen eyesight, hearing, and sense of smell help it detect and avoid predators. They also use steep slopes to avoid escape from thier predators
Bighorn sheep live in the western mountainous regions of North America, ranging from southern Canada to Mexico.
