Tarentola mauritanica

Description:

Tarentola mauritanica gecko is the largest gecko in Europe. Specialised pads on its toes allow the Moorish wall gecko to climb smooth, vertical surfaces such as walls and rocks. It thrives in urban habitats, and is often found on walls and in houses, as in this case, the gecko was spotted on a wall in central Agios Nikolaos city, Crete island, Greece.
