Python molurus molurus
It is also called as hebbavu (ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವು) in kannada. These are slow moving. Indian python has two subspecies: Burmese pythons-P. molurus bivitatus (can grow up to 7.6 m) and Indian python- p. molurus molurus (reaching a maximum of about 6.4 m), this species has light brown and tan rectangles placed over a typically cream background and head is pinkish-brown, triangular and is clearly broader than neck, heat sensitive pits found laterally on snout, partial arrow-shaped marking on the posterior end of the head (on dorsal surface), Tail is short and has dark yellow and black reticulations.
It was relaxing after eating mouse, I thought to take close up images of this beautiful creature (•‿•)
