Bull snake

Pituophis catenifer sayi

Description:

Has a pattern very similar to that of a rattle snake, a yellow head. Probably around 6 and a half feet or longer.

Notes:

Sat still until I went to take pictures and then started hissing at me an shaking it's tail, imitating a rattler.

Hahaha this guy really startled me. I was walking along in the field and he was laying right across my path sunning. If he had been a rattle snake I prolly would have booked it, but I knew he couldn't kill me so I risked getting bit. Lol
