Wasn't planning to go to my aunt's house for birding, but found this Black-throated Blue Warbler in her yard. So glad I had my camera with me.

Always have a camera handy...lol. I learned that the other day when birding a favorite spot. Near the end of the day a Northern Parula came and perched on a branch about 5 feet from me for about 5 minutes. I could have had several great photos of that bird had I only remembered my camera. Next week I should make up for it though. My wife and I are attending the "Biggest week in American Birding". You should check it out Liam if you get the chance. Two weeks of solid birding with birders from all over the world.
BTW Liam, great shots. It is one of the few warblers I have yet to see this spring. So at least I get to see a nice photo until then.
Thanks guys.
Nice spotting - just the reason I always carry a camera as well. Scared that if I don't have it, I will see something really interesting and no way to photograph it. I don't think I have seen any of these warblers before.
Good one...it's so hard to photograph warblers.
