A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Harmonia axyridis
I believe these are a couple of Harlequin Ladybirds in pupa form, in the process of transforming in to their final state. These are the same species as the Larvae I spotted previously (https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/11...). These are not native to Britain but have been declared the fastest invading species in the UK, spreading throughout the country after the first sighting was confirmed in 2004.
Garden, cherry and fig tree leaves.
