Introduced from Europe, the Cross spider or European garden spider is commonly seen int he fall in the Pacific Northwest. Distinguished by the white cross like pattern on it's back, the cross spider builds a large strong web.

Thank you. She set up her web on my porch so I had perfecting lighting from the porch light with added flash and my raynox lens.
