...at first I was thinking sharpie because of the squared tail...but he does have pretty chunky legs. Sharp shinned hawks have very delicate legs... I don't know!

If it has red eyes its a Cooper's Hawk

He stops by every few weeks on my patio and hunts the House Sparrows hiding in the shrub.
