Leptotarsus costalis
This crane fly was not particularly large in the body but had incredibly long, straight antennae held together and back behind the head. I could not get a shot which shows the full length. Check pic 2 and triple it or see the gallery shot at my reference link.
In an open dry eucalyptus woodland - nature reserve.

I suspect if they didn't hold them together as one they might break.
I've been noticing these guys around, how they fly with that great long antennae is beyond me.
