I believe this is a Peninsula Cooter. Taxonomy on these turtles is difficult to nail down because the peninsula cooter, florida redbelly, and river cooters do hybridize and have some similar markings. That 2nd vertebral scute shows 2 narrow lines, which indicates Peninsula Cooter. Nice picture!
