Description:

Is a small herbaceous plant, sometimes with a woody base, stems erect, leafy, about 40 cm tall. Leaves hairy, narrow, linear, with the rolled edge, grayish, hairy, and when rubbed off they release a strong smell while losing the hairs. Yellow flowers in globular-looking straw, gathered in groups at the end of the stems. Used in teas against fever and chest problems.

Habitat:

Mediterranean and Atlantic habitats, often near the sea. Sandy and dry lands, arid and rocky.
