Unidentified sea cucumber

Description:

Small leathery, dark wine-black colored sea cucumber 1-1.5 inches wide and of undetermined length with several pieces of sand and coral rubble clinging to it.

Habitat:

Nearshore tropical coastal marine ecosystem.

Notes:

Spotted tucked into a crevasse in a tidepool along the shore just east of Barbers Point Beach Park. Possibly Holothuria cinerascens.
