Yes, we have endemic species or ssp. of lizards, especially on our island...a lot of islands have their own ssp. of P. siculus

You're welcome, Daniele! I know for sure that L. oxycephala obtain only in small area in Croatia, and in that area is very common..when I was studied I had a chance to do some research about L. oxycephala :)

Thanks for your correction Jopy! This indeed what my Collins reptile guide indicated but I thought this could be a case of default location on the map.

@Daniele, the lizard you suggested doesn't obtain in Istria, Sharp-snouted rock lizard is endemic in South Dalmatia, part of Herzegovina and Montenegro, here is mine spotting of http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/195... and looks different than Blue-throated Keeled Lizard
