Native bee (deceased)

Description:

If a bee could choose a place to die I guess the centre of a flower might be a good one. This little dead bee was about 14mm long and had a distinctly rounded abdomen. Very plain color otherwise and no obvious structures for collecting pollen.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve.
