Red-spotted Hawkfish

Amblycirrhitus pinos

Description:

Brown and black striped hawkfish with red spots near the head. They use their pectoral fins as legs and perch like a hawk on a rock and swoop down to get their prey.

Notes:

Had this in my aquarium for years. I enjoyed his antics. I wish I had a better camera back when I had my aquarium.
