"Medium-sized slender species. Head narrow and relatively flat; snout elongate. Limbs and digits relatively short and slender. Tail long and slender. Colour varies greatly according to surroundings. Head often with reddish marbling intermixed with whitish spots. ...In South Sinai populations, males being almost plain gray with conspicuous reddish and white marbling on the head.
