A large beautiful caterpillar, black with yellow and white tufts, long yellow and white hairs near the head capsule and bright red legs and prolegs. About 3 cm long.
Found on bushes along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, Km 18.5, 1164 meters.
