Vaca Holando- Argentino (Cow)

holando- argentino

Description:

If there is an animal you will see around uruguayan pastures, that is the cow...I therefore thought it deserved to be mentioned. Here you can see some Holando-argentino cows which are famous for the delicious milk they provide.

Thank you very much Manu and Vale for your nice comments; there were many cows indeed. Actually, these ones were calves and they were waiting for their mothers who were giving us some of their milk at that moment. The orange thing on the ear has a number on it and is sort of like a mark to know which cow it is; it is an identification thing...Here in Uruguay people mark cows on their body with a sort of stamp that identifies the farm they belong to and then tambos and farms sometimes identify them with that thing on the ear too.
