Letis Moth

Description:

Large Moth, about 9 cm or more...very late at night. I thought it was a Black Witch moths, Ascalapha odorata ... it is similar in size...but it looks like a Letis herilia or Letis sp.??

Habitat:

Gallery Forest. 900 Meters-3000 feet above sea level, next to Tanaka National Park, a Pasture , and in a Garden with Endemic trees, plants and flowers of Costa Rica.

I think this one is Letis vultura. Always a tricky genus, very variable and flash might change colors.
