A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
I noticed this Cuckoo Wasp while we were at a bird hide & followed her for a while. She found a Potter Wasps nest & started to chew a small hole. Then she laid her egg inside, closed the hole & dried it by flapping her wings.
Hi Kerry.. please update your names. Marta's suggestion is fine until someone can take us further. Thanks.
Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
Please consider adding this spotting to the Animal Architecture mission at http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8082...
