Great Crested Flycatcher

Myiarchus crinitus

Description:

All adults are brownish on the upperparts with yellow underparts; they have a long rusty brown tail and a bushy crest. Their throat and breast are grey.

Habitat:

I found this flycatcher flying from tree to tree along a wooded trail.

Notes:

Although one of the largest and most common eastern flycatchers, the great crested flycatcher is raucous enough that it is usually heard before it is seen
