Tiger Beetle

Cicindelinae

Description:

Another pair of beetles that I came across on my recent walk along the beach near Kuşadası, Turkey. These beetles were about the size of my little finger nail and had dark burgundy wing shells and very white furry edges to their upper body and legs. The bodies had traces of blue, brown and red markings. Very pretty and unusual beetles.
