Flat Harvestman

Description:

A strange harvestman that keeps its body low unlike common harvestmen. Head and abdomen are colored dark brown and light green, its long legs are striped dark brown and light green too. There is a small spike on the top of its abdomen.

Habitat:

Wide plant leaves of Kinabalu Park, Kundasang, Sabah, Malaysia.

Notes:

So far I have only seen these type of Opiliones that keeps their central body low in Kinabalu National Park. Another interesting creature of Kinabalu National Park. My other spotting of harvestman similar to this - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/788... According to Wikipedia, only a few species are found in SE Asia. Obviously arachnologist did have not been here. The Opiliones are diverse here because Harvestmen are species diversity indicators. >>>Map accuracy : 1km diameter.

Thank you everyone for your comments.
Yes Argybee, fortunately this one is still keeping it's complete set of legs.
Most harvestmen here have 7 legs only for unknown reasons.
