Comb Jelly

Beroe sp.

Description:

Large comb jelly about 6" (15cm) long. Typical bell shape with 8 rows of purple combs.

Habitat:

Found in warm shallow waters in the Bocas Del Toro region of western Panama.

Notes:

I am pretty sure this is Beroe forskalii but my knowledge base for these creatures is sadly lacking so if anyone here can either confirm or correct my identification it would be most appreciated.
