Canadian Melanolophia

Melanolophia canadaria

Description:

Medium sized moth with soft grey base color and darker waving

Habitat:

West central ga. Host plant: leaves of birch, cherry, elm, maple, oak, pine.

Notes:

I've seen moths like this before. Having a hard time deciding between Signate Melanolophia (https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/20...), and Common Grey (https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/20...). Of course it could be neither.
