Description:

This amazing plant does not need soil - it obtains nitrogen from bacteria and other minerals largely from blown dust. Not considered a parasite it does live on a host tree. It grows best in high humidity,low light and little airflow.

Habitat:

Spotted on deciduous trees next to Brays Bayou in Houston, Texas.
