Common Mormon Pupa

Papilio polytes

Description:

The pupa is located on underside of leafs and twigs. The pupa is light green and later turns brown. Common Mormon caterpillars are heavily parasitised by chalcid wasps, with over a hundred tiny wasps eventually emerging from each Mormon pupa.

Habitat:

Garden. Host plant: Lemon.
