Gonatodes concinnatus
Smaller smooth skinned lizard with very soft skin. Males are quite colorful with cinnamon colored head, a white neck ring and spotted or mottled green and black body. Seldom to 3 inches.
This one hatched from a bunch of eggs we found in a drawer in an unoccupied house in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador (700 masl).
A true Tyrannosaurus Rex wanna-be :-) We let him go to wreak havoc on all the helpless creatures before his immense size :-)
