False Turkey Tail

Description:

The false turkey tail can be confused with the turkey tail, however the false turkey tail has no pores on the underside of the cap. Also, the false turkey tail is orange.

Habitat:

Inside a hollow log in the forest.

Notes:

False turkey tail is not edible or medicinal, but it is not poisonous either. False turkey tail is too tough to eat and has no medicinal properties.
