Description:

The whole body is black, white eyebrows, black hand. All of the gibbons family have longer front limbs than hind limbs as an adaptation to brachiation locomotion. In the wildlife, rarely step on the ground.

Habitat:

Distribution : Indonesia (Kalimantan, Sumatera), Malaysia (Peninsular Malaysia), Thailand. Habitat : rain forests.

Captive gibbon in Schmutzer Primate Center, Jakarta, Indonesia.
