Coral Fungus

Ramaria capitata

Description:

Highly branched pale orange coral fungus with tinges of grey. The branches ended in curly tips giving the whole fungal body a cauliflower look. This coral fungus was growing low to the ground but was wide spread in the one area.

Habitat:

Spotted growing in dense damp leaf litter, on cleared ground but under eucalyptus trees - Toolangi State Forest
