Common Orange Harvestman

Description:

This big orange harvestman is one of the most common harvestmen of Sabah. Orange central body, black legs, eyes and spike. 7 legs only for this one. About 5mm, the length of it's main body.

Habitat:

On plants in shadowy areas in Kinabalu national park, Kundasang, Sabah, Malaysia.

Notes:

Yes, such a strange phenomena.
Based on my survey, out of all my current harvestmen spottings,
6 have 7 legs.
Only 1 of them has a complete set of legs, which you have recently commented about.

Losing a leg seems like a common thing for harvestmen here.

Only 7? Not again CXW. I didn't hear a popping noise :) But really - trying to keep those legs organised and safe must be an incredible task. They're just so long and so thin.
