"coquies"

Ko-kee

Description:

Small amphibian, beige to brown colored it's name after the sound it makes in mating season "coquee" mostly at night.

Habitat:

Moist and tiny.

Notes:

Did you know that coquies only live in PuertoRico? Some people are still not used to sleep because of the beautiful singing of the coquies . In Hawaii there used to be too, but people got bothered from their singing. Did you know that if you take a coqui from P.R. It loses it's voice and dies .
