Swamp Fern

Blechnum serrulatum

Description:

It is a tall fern, about 30 inches with bright green fronds. The fronds have leaflets with serrated edges and the sporangia form rusty brown stripes on the undersides of the leaflets. A very pretty fern.

Habitat:

We saw this in a moist hammock area of Cruickshank Sanctuary in Rockledge, Florida.
