Large dragonfly, newly emerged after molting. Could not fly yet. I think it has just transformed from a nymph into an adult.

Rock in the shallows of a river. Ben Burton Park

This is the Dragonhunter, Hagenius brevistylus. No other dragonfly has such a broad, flat nymph.
