American Goldfinch

Carduelis tristis

Description:

This pair of goldfinches come to our feeder a few times a day. They eat breakfast at the same time as us, so it always makes for a nice big bird / family meal. There's at least one other pair that come regularly, we're trying to figure out how to tell them apart.

Habitat:

Urban, wooded.
